Back to top What payment methods are acceptable We accept most debit and credit cards, cash, or cheques upto the value of your guarantee card.  Accounts are due for settlement on arrival.  This helps avoid a long wait when everyone is leaving. Back to top Can you guarantee a garage for my car Parking spaces are allocated on a "first arrival" basis.  One parking space is available per room, although we can not always guarantee a garage.  If you specifically need a garage please advise at the time of booking and we will help if we can, but this may depend on your arrival time.  Parking spaces must also be vacated at the same time as checking out.  We always provide one parking place per room. Back to top Will my car be safe As safe as anywhere, although we can not accept responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles.  Our garage area is usually locked at night and cars cannot be easily seen from the road. Back to top If I cancel is my deposit refundable Not usually.  It depends how much notice we are given and if we are able to re-let the accommodation for at least the same period.  Once your stay has commenced we are unable to give a refund in the event of early departure.  You can arrange holiday insurance to protect you in the event of cancellation.  Ask us to send you details with your booking confirmation. Back to top Can you arrange holiday insurance We recommend you arrange insurance in the event of cancellation, and we can let you have details of a reasonably priced arrangement.  Please ask for details. Back to top Do you accept stag parties No sorry.  Back to top What about hen parties It depends - we accept the occasional small well behaved party at certain times. Back to top  What time does the bar close It depends how busy we are and the extent of demand.  Usually around 11.30pm at weekends.   We dont usually stay open late if there are no customers! Back to top Do you have disabled access There aren't many hotels with ground floor rooms.  We have two double rooms which are used by some people with access problems.  We do not have any special disabled access, and there are two or three entrance steps to climb.  It is not possible for a wheelchair to be used along the corridors.  We do have many guests with access difficulty but its best if you telephone us or email with your exact requirements and we will help if we can. Back to top Is there a minimum stay We do not accept one night bookings during illuminations weekends or at bank holidays.  We only accept a limited number of one night bookings for Friday or Saturday nights during the rest of the year.  A one night booking often means we would have to turn someone else down who would have stayed longer! Back to top Do you provide evening meals No sorry - we find that there is insufficent demand for us to provide this service.  There are however plenty of nearby cafes providing inexpensive meals.  We find that most guests prefer the flexibility of not having to take a meal at a fixed time. Back to top Do you have ironing facilities We will be happy to lend you an iron/ironing board, please ask if needed.  Please do not use your own iron on the floor or bed, we've had accidents in the past! Back to top Can we bring back takeaway food We prefer you not to bring take away food back to the hotel.  If necessary you can however eat this in the dining room, but please do not have takeaways in your room. Back to top Whereabouts are you On South Shore just a few paces to the sea front.  Very roughly half way between the town centre and the Pleasure Beach.  The town centre is about a twenty minute walk, or five minutes by taxi - assuming that the traffic is not too bad!  See our find us page for further details. Back to top We are celebrating a birthday/special event We can arrange a suprise, maybe flowers and champagne for around £30.  Or perhaps you had something else in mind?  Give us a ring or drop us an email and we will see what we can come up with. Back to top Do you provide evening meals Not usuallly!  We find there is increasingly less demand especially for those on Blackpool short breaks.  There's lots of nearby cafes, pubs and restaurants.
